Remix vs. Original

Being somewhat of a musical purist, I am usually not too fond of remixes. Especially when people mess with Björk's music. She is no stranger to remixes either; she released an album of remixes called "Telegraph" and her singles almost always include remixes. I just never really like them.

Until now. Watch the original video for "Declare Independence" (directed by mastermind Michel Gondry) on top and then watch the remixed video and song. I like the remixed song and video much, much better. The original is probably my least favorite song on "Volta," so I guess this isn't too surprising. Anyway, check out the remix (below the original version) and how much better it is.

What remixes do you like more than the original?

I totally agree--the remix is much better and actually really fun. I frequently like remixes, although right now I can't think of a specific one, but I think there are a lot of creative artists out there gifted in remixing--it reminds me of jazz improvs on familiar jazz classics. I love it when something creative inspires more creativity. That's the way it should be. :) Thanks for posting this!

Hogan has produced into the market a shoe that will fit the beginner as well as the professional Hogan scarpe donna and the skilled skateboarder. Of course, there is no need to be a Hogan scarpe uomo with no cool anymore. Hogan uomo have made sure of that.
