It's a good time to be a gamer. 2009 was a great year for games, and 2010 is looking to be even more interesting. I love the fact that consoles are having a longer lifespan these days, not only because it's less expensive, but because it's forcing developers to be more creative with
gameplay instead of just making the same old shit with flashier graphics. Here are a few screenshots from a
Wired article that I recommend checking out. The great thing is that some of the best games of every year are a total surprise and aren't found on any "anticipated games" list (new IPs like Borderlands, Flower, Scribblenauts, MadWorld, etc).
